A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Informatica Developer.

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

As an Informatica Developer, you will:

Role Overview:

  • This position is part of the Frontier Finance team within Risk and Finance Technology (RFT) organization. The role is responsible for hands-on development, enhancement, and migration of the Frontier automated reconciliation platform, with a strong focus on Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC modernization.
  • The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and finance teams to onboard new reconciliations, enhance existing processes, and support critical financial data pipelines. This role also requires ownership of end-to-end delivery, from requirements through deployment, while contributing to the broader cloud-first transformation strategy.
  • This is a 100% hands-on development role with strong emphasis on ETL development, database performance, and migration to IDMC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead PowerCenter to IDMC migration initiatives, including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Perform technical requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation of ETL workflows
  • Develop and enhance data pipelines supporting Frontier reconciliation processes
  • Partner with business stakeholders and finance users to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation integrity, and system reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues (blocking, locking, latency, query optimization)
  • Provide end-to-end ownership of assigned deliverables
  • Support production releases, defect resolution, and system enhancements
  • Mentor junior developers through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and informal coaching
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, data modeling, and design reviews
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective sessions
  • Implement CI/CD and test-driven development practices
  • Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
  • Python programming (for data processing/automation)
  • Experience in application production support
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms / modernization initiatives
  • Knowledge of financial systems / reconciliation platforms
  • Understanding of data governance and controls in financial systems

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of deliverables

  • Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Informatica and ETL development
  • Proven experience in PowerCenter to IDMC migration projects
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and modeling concepts
  • Experience working in high-performance, high-availability systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

  • Informatica (PowerCenter, IDMC)
  • SQL Server / PL-SQL tools
  • Autosys
  • Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins
  • Microsoft tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

The ideal candidate will have: < Oracle PLSQL, IDMC, ETL, Informatica.>

Primary Skills (Must Have):

  • Informatica PowerCenter (PC) and IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
  • Strong ETL design and development experience
  • Advanced SQL / PL-SQL development
  • Database experience: SQL Server / relational databases
  • Autosys scheduling
  • Shell scripting
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data integration concepts
  • Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting (query plans, indexing, profiling tools)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $73 - $73 per hour

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
