In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP HANA, you will design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will have the opportunity to explore and learn about designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components, integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Assist with Application Development: Learn to design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on HANA version of ABAP, and assist in integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. • Explore SAP HANA Concepts: Engage with SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, and explore Data Modelling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA. • Participate in Solution Delivery: Contribute to the development and delivery of application solutions, and participate in the integration of software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. • Learn ABAP Development: Observe and learn from experienced developers, and assist with ABAP development tasks, including ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services, Data Base Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.
