Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused) to design and build scalable, enterprise-grade systems supporting financial risk management, compliance automation, and AI-driven workflows. This role will focus heavily on backend architecture, API development, real-time data processing, and advanced AI integrations while also contributing to modern React-based frontend applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, Node.js, distributed systems, and LLM-powered solutions, with the ability to architect end-to-end platforms that handle large-scale data and live updates with exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Database Design

• Design and architect scalable backend systems capable of handling high-volume datasets and real-time risk monitoring.
• Develop optimized SQL and NoSQL database schemas to support enterprise automation initiatives.
• Build and maintain data orchestration pipelines for compliance and risk management applications.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and low-latency performance.

API Development & Service Orchestration

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and real-time communication frameworks.
• Design microservices architectures supporting complex business workflows.
• Implement WebSockets and gRPC-web solutions for real-time data synchronization.
• Integrate Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to securely connect AI agents with enterprise systems.

AI & LLM Engineering

• Design and deploy production-ready AI and LLM solutions utilizing OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar technologies.
• Build AI-powered backend workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph and CrewAI.
• Implement advanced function-calling and tool-use patterns to automate business processes.
• Develop AI observability, monitoring, and hallucination detection capabilities using tools such as LangSmith and Opik.

Full-Stack Development

• Develop scalable React and TypeScript applications supporting complex operational workflows.
• Convert Figma designs and prototypes into responsive, production-ready user interfaces.
• Implement modern state management solutions including Redux, Zustand, and TanStack Query.
• Optimize frontend performance for high-frequency, real-time data updates.

Performance Optimization & AI-Driven Development

• Improve application performance across frontend and backend systems.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Codex to accelerate delivery.
• Establish best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-critical applications and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong system architecture and backend development expertise.
• Advanced proficiency with Python (FastAPI, Flask) and Node.js.
• Strong experience building production applications using React and TypeScript.
• Expert-level knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and gRPC-web.
• Experience designing and scaling microservices architectures.
• Strong background with SQL, NoSQL, Redis, and enterprise data management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, DSPy, Smolagents, or similar.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable LLM technologies into production environments.
• Advanced understanding of modern state management and server-state synchronization frameworks.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within large-scale technology environments and familiarity with enterprise development ecosystems.
• Background supporting compliance, risk management, anomaly detection, or workflow automation platforms.
• Experience with distributed workflow engines such as Temporal, Cadence, or Celery.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools including v0.dev and Lovable.
• Experience with Fusion.js, BaseUI, Styletron, and internal developer tooling ecosystems.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on user adoption, stakeholder collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
