Grand Hyatt Nashville Server Assistant: $14/hr + Tips and Free Parking!

Compensation: $14.00 per hour plus tips, Part-Time

The Server Assistant plays a key role in supporting the restaurant team to deliver exceptional hospitality. This position enhances the guest experience by ensuring dining areas are guest-ready, buffets are replenished and presentable, food is delivered promptly, and guests are warmly greeted and seated when needed.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
• Monitor buffet stations, replenish items, uphold cleanliness and presentation standards, and assist guests as needed.
• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and plate placement.
• Greet and seat guests, assist with reservations and waitlists, and provide host support as required.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain high service standards.
• Keep service areas—including side stations, beverage stations, and bussing stations—organized and clean.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with special requests and tasks assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in bussing, food running, or guest services is a plus.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ongoing training provided on the job to support success in this role.
