JOB TITLE: RF Engineer
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $79.71/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
- Clearance: Full Secret clearance required at time of submittal
- Shift: Contractor will work First Shift (Monday–Thursday) from 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Support the manufacturing of complex multi-function RF/microwave modules used in high-reliability applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation, and frequency conversion circuits
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, resolving assembly and test issues
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers, as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel
Requirements:
- Full Secret clearance required at time of submittal
- Bachelor's Degree in RF or Microwave Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in RF/Microwave Engineering
- 1+ years of experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers
- Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as specifications, schematics, and test data
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
- Professional experience in aerospace or defense industries
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated academic achievement in RF/Microwave Engineering
- Familiarity with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools
- Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
