Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs a variety of complex analytical duties in the human resources area of Classification and Pay (C&P) and other areas of Human Resources within the State Personnel (SP) Office. The Analyst ll also ensures CMD hiring supervisors and managers of State Civil Service (SCS) positions adhere to merit-based hiring and selection of SCS employees.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month.
