Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality backend and service‑layer solutions for the handheld application
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and store‑operations stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver valuable features
  • Participate in code, design, and test reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance
  • Apply DevOps practices for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment
  • Integrate the application with monitoring and alerting tools to ensure reliability in a 24/7 environment
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help refine team processes
  • Use data‑driven approaches to validate assumptions and iterate on product features
  • Troubleshoot issues across the development lifecycle and support ongoing improvements

What you'll bring

  • Experience with Vue.js or another modern frontend framework
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and service‑oriented architecture
  • Experience working with distributed or microservices‑based systems
  • Some experience working with AWS services
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, unit/integration testing, clean code)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kafka and event driven architecture
