Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:20 AM–8:30 AM (3rd Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
Our client in Cary, IL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their 3rd shift team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician looking for long-term stability, competitive pay, and room for growth within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Support production by responding to equipment downtime and repair needs
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate equipment issues and repair status to production and leadership teams
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read basic schematics or manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
