Lead Data DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data DevOps Engineer to join our delivery team. This role is responsible for establishing and optimizing CI/CD, automation, infrastructure deployment and operational engineering practices for the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current deployment and release practices for the platform
  • Define and implement the DevOps strategy for Microsoft Fabric
  • Configure and optimize repositories, branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate deployment processes and establish Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns where applicable
  • Implement environment promotion processes to support seamless transitions across development, staging and production
  • Integrate automated deployments with operational monitoring tools to ensure platform reliability and visibility
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data governance and AI teams to enable efficient and secure delivery workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on CI/CD, automation and infrastructure deployment
  • Strong hands-on skills in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
  • Expertise in configuring repositories, branching and deployment automation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments
  • Experience integrating operational monitoring with deployment pipelines
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
