We are looking for a Senior Python Web Engineer to join our team.

As a Python Web Engineer, you design and deliver complex features end-to-end, directly supporting our client's credit performance platforms. You are accountable for the quality, reliability, and correctness of your work, and you proactively identify risks, tradeoffs, and improvement opportunities. You operate with minimal supervision, contribute meaningfully to design decisions, and engage directly with investment and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of designing and delivering complex features and components from implementation through to production
  • Craft solutions with well-defined interfaces, thoughtful tradeoffs, and long-term maintainability
  • Foresee technical and operational risks and address them proactively
  • Ensure proper testing, reliability, and deployment readiness for your contributions
  • Review code and designs to elevate overall quality and consistency across the team
  • Interact with business and investment stakeholders to capture requirements and communicate technical decisions clearly

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong Python development skills, including hands-on experience with FastAPI for building modern APIs
  • Practical knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, RDS, and Aurora for cloud-based infrastructure and databases
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation
  • Hands-on background with Next.js for building modern web front-end applications
  • Solid expertise with PostgreSQL for relational database design and management
  • Familiarity with Geneva for portfolio accounting or related financial data workflows
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and delivery quality
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing, analytics, and large-scale data processing
