What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter, with attention to unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Support inbound and outbound traffic flow by observing gate activity, maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle records, and reporting issues that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
