Software Senior Full Stack Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Full Stack Engineer to join our global engineering team within Apex Group. This role is focused on supporting and evolving critical applications and integration services, ensuring high availability, stability, and continuous improvement across both frontend and backend layers.

The successful candidate will work across modern frontend and backend technologies, contributing to both development and operational support activities. This includes troubleshooting production issues, enhancing existing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across DevOps, infrastructure, and engineering.

You will report to the Head of DevOps based in Spain and work closely with global teams, particularly with European stakeholders. The role is based in the Philippines and requires alignment with European working hours on a daily basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a mix of development, frontend ownership, backend services, and operational responsibility within a modern cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve frontend, backend, and integration-related production incidents in collaboration with DevOps, Networking, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend applications using modern frameworks (Astro, Angular, React), ensuring performance, usability, and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance backend services, APIs, .NET applications, and SQL stored procedures.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and release of new features and enhancements.
• Improve automation around validation, monitoring, and error reporting to reduce manual intervention.
• Own troubleshooting documentation, support playbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate daily with EU-based teams, ensuring active participation during European working hours.
• Contribute to code reviews, quality assurance, and backlog refinement processes.

Working Hours & Collaboration Expectations

• Approximate working hours: Aligned with European business hours (CET/CEST overlap required)
• Hybrid setup: 4 days from office; 1 day form home.
• Daily collaboration with Spain-based DevOps leadership and global teams.
• Requires strong coordination across time zones and the ability to work in a distributed environment with consistent overlap with EU teams.
