Description

Quanex is looking for a Material Handler to join our team located in Kent, Washington.

The Material Handler is responsible for working as part of a team in moving materials out of and around the facility, and loading trucks in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Expected Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hour (DOE)

What Success Looks Like:

  • Receive and stock finished goods and pull customer orders.
  • Scan finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped.
  • Record/print inventory activity information.
  • Enter and print shipping documentation.
  • Load flat-bed and/or box trucks, as assigned.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Adhere to established standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience driving forklifts and loading trucks.
  • Good reading ability, including the ability to read and understand packaging layouts.
  • Good computer proficiency with the ability to use a variety of systems.
  • Good detail orientation.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
