AI Security Architect Seeking a forward-thinking professional with an AI-first mindset to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade solutions using Generative and Agentic AI frameworks that drive innovation, efficiency, and business transformation.
12+ years of experience in defining and driving enterprise AI and security architecture strategy across scalable ML and GenAI platforms. Brings deep expertise across AI solution architecture and security architecture, with a strong focus on secure-by-design practices, responsible AI adoption, and regulatory compliance throughout the machine learning lifecycle. Acts as a senior technical and strategic leader, guiding teams, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring AI systems are secure, trustworthy, and aligned with ethical and compliance standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact.
Own the enterprise-wide AI and ML architecture vision, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant
Define and maintain reference architectures, architectural blueprints, and security architecture practices for secure and responsible AI platforms
Embed secure-by-design and Responsible AI principles across the AI lifecycle, including bias mitigation, explainability, data protection, risk classification, and regulatory alignment
Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for AI systems including LLMs, generative models, federated learning, and large-scale ML platforms
Identify and address AI-specific attack surfaces such as adversarial attacks, model poisoning, and data leakage
Collaborate with MLOps, engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud security teams to standardize secure and reusable AI infrastructure components
Ensure AI systems align with global regulations and standards such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF
Partner with Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Legal teams to align AI initiatives with enterprise cybersecurity and compliance strategy
Define monitoring, logging, and incident response requirements for AI workloads, including model drift, compliance alerts, and security events
Lead architecture review boards for AI platforms and drive consistent application of security and governance best practices across teams
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI security, governance, and strategic risk decisions
Mentor and guide AI architects, ML engineers, and security specialists across the organization
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks. Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realization. The candidate should be AI Native.
12+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture, security architecture, or large-scale enterprise system design.
Strong experience designing and securing large-scale ML and GenAI systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
Deep understanding of secure AI development practices including IAM, model versioning, auditability, secure MLOps, and cloud security controls.
Hands-on knowledge of cloud security services such as AWS IAM, KMS, Azure Key Vault, and GCP Workload Identity.
Strong understanding of AI security risks including adversarial ML, prompt injection, model theft, and data leakage.
Familiarity with AI security and privacy techniques such as adversarial training, input validation, encryption, and model watermarking.
Experience with AI observability, monitoring, and governance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, SHAP, or LIME.
Strong understanding of data privacy, encryption at rest, in transit, and in use, and compliance-driven AI design.
Excellent ability to communicate complex architectural and security concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
Proven leadership in driving secure AI adoption, governance maturity, and cross-functional alignment.
Preferred certification: ISACA — Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM ), Certified AI Security Architect (CAISA),GIAC – AI, ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM), CISSP & Cybersecurity and AI+ Architect Certification
