Key Responsibilities
Own CMP module delivery for NPI programs, ensuring on-time milestones and risk closure
Lead process development, qualification, and fab-to-fab technology transfer
Drive cross-functional alignment with PI, Yield, Defect, and Equipment teams to resolve integration issues
Establish process control strategy (SPC/FDC/APC), yield improvement, and defect reduction roadmap
Lead complex RCA and risk mitigation for high-impact program issues
Represent CMP in UMD reviews; communicate program status, risks, and actions to management and customers
Requirements
≥7 years CMP experience with strong NPI / technology transfer track record
Deep expertise in process integration, yield improvement, and advanced problem solving (RCA/8D)
Proven leadership in driving cross-functional programs under tight timelines
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

About the Role
As a Principal Engineer focusing on Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP), you will be a key technical leader in the Process Module team. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining cutting-edge CMP processes critical to our semiconductor fabrication technology nodes. This role requires deep, hands-on CMP technical expertise, a strategic mindset to drive advanced planarization solutions, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional integration teams and external partners.
