Summary:
Manages the daily operations, of the Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD). Coordinates the reprocessing of all supplies and equipment used throughout the health care facility. Responsible for all processing functions that include decontamination, preparation and packaging, terminal sterilization or sanitation, preparation of surgical case carts, and linen packs. Responsible for the case cart management system to include day-to-day surgical case needs are met in accordance with schedules and workflows. Accountable for ongoing operations, including equipment, instrumentation supply and repair management. Utilizes quality/productivity and performance metrics to drive quality outcomes, labor utilization and productivity. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
