What To Expect
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual who combines Data Engineering expertise with Industrial Engineering methodology. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, ensuring labor, capacity, and layout targets align with business goals while using data to drive smarter decisions. You’ll work closely with production teams, engineers, and stakeholders to streamline operations, optimize resource allocation, and resolve bottlenecks—both through traditional planning methods and by building data tools that support real-time visibility.
What You'll Do
Assess production capacities and efficiencies using design specifications and operational performance data
Identify and address capacity constraints, material risks, manufacturing challenges, production blockers, logistical issues, and inventory levels to meet demand
Design, build, and maintain data workflows for collecting, processing, and analyzing production metrics such as lead times, inventory, and bottlenecks
Provide high-quality decision support using discrete event simulation, linear programming, and other operations research methods, including throughput simulation, resources sensitivity simulation and logistics simulation
Generate dashboards and reports for real-time decision-making, leveraging data analytics to optimize processes and improve efficiency
Manage projects and lead cross-functional teams across engineering and technical disciplines
Management, space allocation and material flow optimization
Work with counterparts in the Industrial Engineering department in developing and leveraging performance and cost models for new/sustaining production lines
What You'll Bring
3+ years of prior manufacturing experience in a similar position
Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow-through
Strong analytical mindset with an ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
Skilled in managing projects and cross-functional teams with a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines
Broad experience with Industrial Engineering and methodologies
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools; experience with data modeling, dashboard creation (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and integrating systems to support real-time production analytics
Comfort working in fast-paced environments and juggling multiple priorities
