In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect specializing in Application & Integration, you will design and plan cloud application and infrastructure architectures, ensuring security and compliance. You will think strategically to create technical solutions that achieve client objectives in complex situations. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Cloud Architectures: Design and plan cloud application and infrastructure architectures that meet security and compliance requirements, connecting private and public clouds and providing orchestration, management, and application portability between them. • Develop Solution Strategies: Create complex solution strategies and designs that deliver value-added architecture consulting to global clients, owning the solution strategy and design. • Drive Technical Adoption: Define and execute technical adoption and migration strategies, working with highly technical teams to identify repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration. • Collaborate with Client Teams: Engage client development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams to understand their needs and develop effective solutions. • Deliver Architecture Consulting: Provide value-added architecture consulting to global clients, leveraging expertise in cloud application and infrastructure architectures.
