What You’ll Do
- Prep and clean metal and pipe surfaces using blasting, sanding, and masking methods.
- Mix and apply industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, zinc, etc.) using spray guns and other equipment.
- Ensure coating thickness and coverage meet spec requirements.
- Maintain painting tools, spray systems, and booths.
- Follow all job safety and PPE standards.
- Work closely with your supervisor and team to hit deadlines without cutting corners.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of industrial painting experience (pipe or steel painting a plus).
- Familiarity with industrial coatings, prep standards, and finish inspection.
- Comfortable working in a shop or field environment — around noise, heat, and equipment.
- Dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces when required.
Bonus Points: NACE or SSPC certifications, sandblasting experience, or prior work in a fabrication shop.
