Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of a Supervisor I (SUP 1), the Analyst I (ANA I) will be the Region's Support Analyst, performing a wide variety of complex analytical duties including, researching and reporting on invoice and procurement processing, Maintenance & the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Inter-agency Agreement district liaison, encumbrance support, Cal-Card purchasing and reconciliation, comparison review and analysis between Datalink Receivers and Paid Receivers, and procurement training. Incumbent assists the Analyst II with the independent analysis of financial information recording and reporting for Maintenance Division invoices. Incumbent independently performs technical support for the Maintenance Division. The incumbent is expected to perform full journey-level work, exercise a high degree of initiative in performing assigned tasks, and be accountable for prompt and accurate work, along with the delivery of excellent customer service.

The Region Support Analyst works with peers performing clerical work supporting the administrative needs of the Field employees. Incumbent will work closely with the Region's Maintenance Hiring Analyst, ensuring all appropriate documents are provided for successful onboarding of new and transferring staff to ensure compliance measures are met. The incumbent will also be the single point of contact for health benefits documents. The incumbent will be responsible for representing, initiating, developing, and maintaining a healthy and cohesive team-focused environment with peers, internal, and external partners. Incumbent must be able to multitask, working in a fast-paced environment, effectively. Travel for training and meetings outside of the employee’s main office may be required. The incumbent is required to travel to various offices within the District and may be required to work overtime. A valid driver's license is required to operate a state-owned or leased vehicle.
