Join Amazon's Global Logistics team to optimize drayage operations and drive meaningful impact across our international supply chain. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance capacity planning, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery speeds while collaborating with internal teams and external logistics partners to solve complex operational challenges.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
• Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
• Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
• Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
• Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
• Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
• Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
• Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.

A day in the life

Your day typically involves analyzing port-to-FC performance data, coordinating with drayage providers to optimize capacity utilization, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges. You'll manage daily volume planning, track key metrics, and develop strategies to improve speed and cost efficiency in our drayage operations.

You'll join a diverse team of problem-solvers who are passionate about transforming global commerce.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
• 4+ years of program or project management experience
• 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• 4+ years of carrier management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
• 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
• Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
