Your role

Join OneDigital, the team driving Symrise’s digital transformation with the ambition to become the most digitally empowered company on the planet. Within our Data, Analytics & AI organization, we turn data into decisions and ideas into impact—creating scalable platforms, trusted insights, and AI-driven solutions that power innovation and business value across the organization.

As Head of Data & Integration/API Architecture & Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Symrise’s enterprise-wide data and integration strategy. This is a global leadership position responsible for defining architectural direction, building foundational capabilities, and enabling the digital and AI transformation journey at scale. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, driving innovation through modern data ecosystems and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise-wide strategy for data architecture, integration, and API engineering.
• Shape the global architecture roadmap that supports scalable digital and AI initiatives.
• Build and evolve modern data and integration capabilities to enable business growth and transformation.
• Drive the adoption of secure, scalable, and future-ready technologies and best practices.
• Partner closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams across data, analytics, engineering, and AI.
• Champion innovation, data democratization, and enterprise-wide enablement to maximize business value.

About you

• Proven experience leading large-scale data architecture, integration, or API engineering initiatives.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience building and scaling modern data platforms and enterprise integration ecosystems.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading global, cross-functional teams.
• Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and leveraging data and AI to create impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
