Description and Requirements
General Description: Responsible for creating commission data files. Audit the data in the company’s commission processing system. Ensure the policy level detail is accurate related to carrier, coverage, and commission type.
Responsibilities:
- Compare commission data to IT inquiries.
- Create bulk uploads to assist the Commissions Department and Operations teams.
- Assist with acquisitions. Gather data from statements and prepare the template for policy upload.
- Complete and deliver accurate reports as requested by the operations and sales teams.
- Resolve commission inquiries assigned via SharePoint or due to a commission or Agent change.
- Process commission statements adhering to all commission deadlines.
- Serve as point person for specific reporting needs. Create reports as requested.
- Complete approval NCF and commission trackers issues timely
- Provide training to new hires.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in the insurance field a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must have data entry skills.
- Attention to detail in reviewing information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy, team environment.
