Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Material Handler to support a high-volume logistics team. This role is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who are comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Pay Rate:

• $18.00 – $19.00/Hour

Shift:

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inbound receiving and put-away of materials
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Count and verify individual packages and pallets
• Use RF handheld scanners for inventory tracking
• Process outbound shipments (domestic and international)
• Handle customer returns and related documentation
• Load trucks and ocean containers
• Operate warehouse equipment and use safety tools (banding equipment, safety knives, etc.)
• Perform cycle counting and assist with inventory control
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8 hours)
• Comfortable performing repetitive motions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team-oriented with commitment to safety (HSE standards)
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse/logistics environment
• Frequent lifting, bending, and standing
• Fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Must follow all safety and PPE requirements
