Material Handler

1st and 2nd Shift

$24 - $25/hr

Summary

Support production by moving, staging, and tracking raw materials and finished goods in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload and move materials (steel, piping, fabricated parts)
• Supply production areas (welding, cutting, fabrication)
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane
• Verify shipments and organize inventory
• Stage materials for work orders and production schedules
• Assist with packaging and shipping
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Must be able to work outside in all adverse weather conditions

Qualifications

• 2 year of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Manufacturing or metal experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic reading of work orders and labels
