Akkodis is seeking a Sr Java Full Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will design and implement resilient microservices and REST APIs while owning architecture decisions, optimizing performance, and collaborating within Agile teams to drive business‑critical solutions.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Java Full Stack Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern web frameworks.
• Own and execute architecture design, baseline implementations, and technical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Build scalable, resilient, and high‑performance RESTful services using SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to deliver features that improve business outcomes and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug Tier‑1 applications, identifying performance bottlenecks and simplifying complex implementations.
• Guide teams on coding standards, automation, CI/CD practices, and adoption of new tools and frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java full‑stack development within production environments.
• Strong expertise in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web technologies (Angular/JavaScript).
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with strong problem‑solving skills, CI/CD exposure, and the ability to independently own complex technical deliverables.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
