Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer of the Office of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineering and Support, the incumbent independently plans, organizes and performs a variety of complex technical and analytical administrative activities. These activities include: managing the acquisition, receiving, testing, tracking, storing and distribution of technical Transportation Management (TMS)/Transportation Management Center (TMC) monitoring, measuring and communications equipment; analyzing State Furnished Materials needs for various projects; monitoring and verification of project budgets; analyzing and tracking project support resources and managing and monitoring inventory control systems.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Analyst II exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
