Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will lead complex, multi-disciplinary technology programs from planning through delivery to ensure seamless execution across business and technical teams.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Program Manager job responsibilities include:

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large-scale technology programs, ensuring alignment across business, technical, and customer experience teams.
  • Manage and coordinate multi‑discipline resources, driving collaboration across engineering, product, operations, and stakeholder groups.
  • Oversee program planning, roadmap development, risk management, and execution to ensure on-time, high‑quality delivery.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, selecting and tailoring the delivery approach based on project needs.
  • Monitor program performance through metrics, status reporting, and governance processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to resolve issues, manage escalations, and maintain program alignment with strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of program management experience within software or technology environments.
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams across business and technical functions to deliver complex programs.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, with the ability to tailor delivery methods based on project needs.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
