Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. This role requires deep experience in advanced Java concepts and hands‑on delivery across REST APIs, client discussions, and solution proposals.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance full‑stack Java applications using advanced Java concepts, Core Java, Bootstrap, and REST API frameworks.
• Design and implement MCP and LLM‑based AI agent integrations to support modern, intelligent application features.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, discuss solution options, and align technical delivery with business needs.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable, high‑quality technical solutions.
• Work across the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration, system performance, and successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java full‑stack development using advanced Java and Core Java concepts.
• Proven experience integrating MCP, LLMs, or AI agent frameworks into application workflows.
• Strong background in developing REST APIs and collaborating directly with clients on requirements and solution proposals.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
