Essential Job Duties
A postdoctoral research scholar position is immediately available. The selected candidate will work under the direct guidance of Dr. Michael Nolan (radiation/cancer biologist and veterinary radiation oncologist). Significant mentorship will also be provided by key collaborators: Drs. Duncan Lascelles (translational pain researcher and oncologic surgeon) and Santosh Mishra (neurobiologist and expert in genetically engineered mouse models).

NC State provides an outstanding academic environment for professional growth and development. And we are part of an exceptional community of researchers in neurobiology, as well as cancer, radiation, and pain biology/medicine; there are excellent core facilities and resources both at NC State, and our partnering institutions: Duke University and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
This will be a two-year minimum position.

Work Schedule Full-time: Monday-Friday (approx. 8am to 5pm) with occasional after-hours and/or weekend work. This is an on-site (non-remote) position.
