What happens when you hand a product manager the keys to an AI-first team that opperates like a start up at Amazon scale? They build the future of security. Want in? Amazon Enterprise Security Products is a newly launched group building intelligent, cloud-agnostic security tools where AI isn't a buzzword on a roadmap slide — it's how we think, build, and ship. We need a Product Manager - Tech who can move at startup speed, obsess over customers, and shape products that don't exist yet, all at a scale most startups only dream about. This is not a "write requirements and wait" PM role. You'll be in the room (and in the code reviews) with engineers, security researchers, and applied scientists, turning ambiguous customer problems into shipped products. You'll define what we build, why we build it, and how fast it gets to customers. Short feedback loops. Real ownership. No layers between you and the impact.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
No two days look the same and that's the point. You might start your morning reviewing customer interview notes and reshaping a feature spec using AI-assisted writing tools, then jump into a design session where your product instincts collide with a principal engineer's architecture vision (and something better emerges). After lunch, you're demoing a prototype to a customer, pressure-testing assumptions in real time. By end of day, you've reprioritized a sprint based on what you learned, drafted a strategy doc for a new capability no one's built before, and pinged the team with three ideas you had on your walk. Your work reaches production fast and you see customers react in real time, not quarters later.
About the team
Amazon Enterprise Security Products is built by builders who tackle challenges others might consider too ambitious. We're a small team where there are no layers between you and the decision, no waiting quarters to see your work reach customers. Every team member brings an owner's mentality. If there's a problem worth solving, we solve it. No mission is beyond reach, no detail beneath our attention. We move fast, we ship fast, and we learn from what we ship. This is where builders, who want to make the impossible routine, come to do their best work.
