What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise IAM architecture, encompassing identity lifecycle management, access control models, and integrations with both cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Architect and drive the adoption of IAM solutions, including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation services.
  • Oversee and guide IAM, ensuring alignment with business needs, security best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement IAM technologies and tools, providing expert recommendations to senior leadership on platform and vendor choices.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, security, and business stakeholders to integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems and support access needs.
  • Support incident response activities related to identity and access, including investigation and remediation of security incidents.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, defining identity-related security metrics, KPIs, and observability standards to enhance IAM capabilities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and technical staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Architect and secure global DMZ infrastructure, ensuring robust exposure of externally accessible services and hybrid identity endpoints.
  • Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for standardized deployment workflows across identity platforms.
  • Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and disaster recovery documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Networking, Cloud, and Compliance teams.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years focused on IAM architecture and solutions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, AWS/Azure Security certifications) are highly desirable.
  • Deep expertise in IAM concepts and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Kerberos.
  • Hands-on experience with leading IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, SailPoint, Delinea, Active Directory).
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience with regulatory and compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, AWS/Azure Security certifications) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with DevOps, automation, and identity-as-code practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security frameworks and modern authentication paradigms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Solid skills in Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and identity networking.
  • Expertise in DMZ architectures, firewalls, reverse proxies, and secure app publishing.
