Under the supervision of the Dean, the Analyst I provides support for day-to-day program operations and division programs and/or projects. This includes process and program analysis, evaluation, and planning; meeting facilitation; preparation of surveys, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and other operational and strategic communication support; evaluation of budgets; and working within a team environment to perform annual planning of program or project goals. The incumbent also provides administrative support to the Vice Chancellor and collaborates with staff from various programs to achieve divisional goals and objectives.

This position is has a Hybrid work setting, including telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on the Chancellor’s Office’s evolving telework policy. The Chancellor’s Office supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to the headquarters office in Sacramento if an urgent need arises.
