Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Intermediate to Software Engineer to support our Ground Solutions and Mission Support Software Integrated Project Team (IPT). This team is responsible for developing and maintaining several mission operational software product lines and creating new capabilities in collaboration with a restricted SCI customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a C++ software developer in a fast-paced agile team environment consisting of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtual machines, servers, and workstations.
• Design, code, and unit test new software capabilities according to Mathematical Algorithm Requirements (MARs).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues documented in Discrepancy Reports (DRs).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and staff engineers across multiple software subsystems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Must possess a Top Secret clearance and be eligible to hold a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.

Work Environment

This position is 100% on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located in Redondo Beach, CA. The work environment is classified, and personal phones are not permitted. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $90.00/hr.
