Akkodis is seeking a Customer Engineer for a Contract with a client in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidate performs a wide range of IT service tasks and documents all work thoroughly while escalating issues appropriately to meet customer demands.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Customer Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Perform a variety of technical support tasks both remotely and on customer sites to meet business needs.
• Coordinate small teams to deliver defined work packages following company processes.
• Document completed work accurately to ensure compliance with company and customer procedures.
• Escalate technical issues appropriately and follow up to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Adapt quickly within dynamic team environments to maintain effective and reliable contribution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in an IT Desktop Services or technical support environment.
• Proven ability to follow technical procedures and utilize information systems in line with IT industry standards.
• Strong customer‑service mindset with effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
