The role purpose.
We have an 12 month fixed term role for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join us. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and operating Bupa’s cloud platforms at scale. This role focuses on enabling secure, reliable, and cost‑effective cloud services through automation, engineering standards, and modern platform practices. You will help evolve the cloud platform as an internal product, balancing governance and control with developer productivity. Working closely with architecture, security, DevOps, SRE, FinOps, and delivery teams, you will influence how cloud services are consumed across the organisation and help maximise the value of Bupa’s cloud investments. This is a senior hands-on engineering role with strong expectations around technical leadership, platform decision‑making, and operational excellence.
