Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a proficient Artificial Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications integrating frontend, backend, AI services, and databases. This role is crucial in advancing GenAI chatbot solutions, implementing RAG-based architectures, and delivering scalable cloud-native applications. By collaborating with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, this position contributes significantly to providing innovative AI-powered solutions that drive business value.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Python (4+ years in backend API development; experience with FastAPI or Flask preferred)
• Angular (proficient in frontend development with strong UI/UX skills)
• REST API development and integration experience
• Azure Function Apps or AWS Lambda for serverless application development
• Azure SQL or Microsoft SQL Server for database design and optimization
• Hands-on exposure to OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs for GenAI chatbot solutions
• Git for version control
• Agile development practices

Preferred:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of RAG architecture (document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, prompt orchestration)
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, and API protection best practices

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack AI-enabled applications incorporating frontend, backend, AI services, and databases.
• Develop and support GenAI chatbot solutions using OpenAI or Azure OpenAI platforms.
• Implement and enhance RAG architecture components including document ingestion, embeddings, and retrieval.
• Build scalable backend APIs and microservices using Python frameworks.
• Deploy serverless applications leveraging Azure Function Apps.
• Design and optimize database systems in Azure SQL or MSSQL.
• Develop responsive and high-performance Angular frontend applications.
• Integrate frontend with backend services using REST APIs.
• Implement authentication, security controls, and API protection mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and CI/CD deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.

• Required: Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of full stack software development experience.
• Proven expertise in Python backend and Angular frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with serverless cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
• Experience integrating OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs; familiarity with GenAI chatbot development.
• Basic understanding or experience with RAG architectures.
• Agile team collaboration experience.
• Exposure to application security and API governance is advantageous.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Write and maintain scalable code in Python and Angular.
• Develop AI-driven chatbot and knowledge retrieval solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
• Conduct peer code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Monitor application deployments and optimize cloud resources.
• Keep technical documentation updated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing, AI, or software development are a plus.
