Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the USMA Data Management team supporting data acquisition and curation for research and clinical development.
  • Design and implement data management solutions aligned with FAIR principles.
  • Ensure high-quality data delivery and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support data collection, review, and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
  • Oversee vendor management, data transfer agreements, and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple studies.
  • Perform data reviews, identify trends, and ensure data quality using visualization and statistical tools.
  • Represent Data Management in study meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new data technologies.
  • Provide expertise on data collection, curation, and management best practices throughout the research lifecycle.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Life Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of CDISC data standards
  • Understanding of ICH-GCP and regulated environments
  • Project management experience with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to mentor others
  • Understanding of biological data types (clinical, biomarker, WGS, RNA-seq, etc.)
