General Surgeon – Community Hospital | da Vinci Robot Available
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital | Torrington, Connecticut | Full-Time
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a busy, well-established surgical practice at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum General Surgery in a community hospital setting while having access to the resources, technology, and referral network of a large integrated health system.
Position Highlights
- Practice Setting: Community hospital-based General Surgery
- Technology: Access to da Vinci robotic surgical system
- Call Schedule:
- 1:4 weekday call
- 1:4 weekend call
- Case Mix: Bread-and-butter General Surgery with opportunity to incorporate minimally invasive and robotic procedures
- Practice Environment: Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty support
