We are seeking an experienced Lead Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Tricentis Tosca to spearhead comprehensive automation strategies across diverse enterprise applications. This role demands a hands-on professional adept at delivering efficient, scalable automation solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Tricentis Tosca, including Tosca Modules, TestCases, TBox, and TestData Management
- Build and maintain API automated tests (REST/SOAP) with Tosca API Scan, if applicable
- Develop automated testing for SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, PP), web applications, PLM systems, and purchasing applications
- Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality test coverage
- Analyze requirements, define test strategies, and identify automation opportunities
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools
- Implement automation frameworks adhering to best practices such as modularity, reuse, and reporting
- Provide proactive solutions to address complex testing challenges independently
- Document processes, generate test reports, and communicate results to stakeholders effectively
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
- Expertise in developing automation for SAP (using Tosca SAP Modules), web-based applications, and API testing (Tosca API Scan experience is a plus)
- Background in automating PLM and procurement/purchasing systems
- Knowledge of test design techniques, risk-based testing, and automation ROI applications
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities to address technical challenges independently
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and business teams
- Ability to organize tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive ownership of responsibilities and deliverables
- Competency in creating clear documentation and test reports
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
