Pay & Training
- $20.50/hour once on shift
- $17.50/hour during training (1st shift: Mon–Fri, 6am–2pm for 2–4+ weeks)
Schedule
- 6pm – 6am
- 3-day rotating schedule (12-hour shifts = more days off!)
Position Type
- Evaluation-to-hire (great opportunity to grow into a long-term role!
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Press Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly:
- Operate binding, finishing, and packaging equipment
- Set up and fine-tune machines for production runs
- Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, etc.)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs
- Support and train team members when needed
- Help keep the production floor efficient and on track
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment
- Ability to make routine adjustments and operate machinery
- Willingness to cross-train and learn new areas
- Basic math and computer skills (email, simple graphics, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand instructions and safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and flexibility with scheduling
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently / up to 50 lbs occasionally
