Akkodis is seeking a Java, AWS Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will manage end‑to‑end service implementation while maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines and version‑controlled codebases.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java, AWS Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Design and optimize data storage solutions leveraging Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and other distributed database technologies.
  • Build and deploy cloud‑native applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to cloud best practices.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and maintain clean version‑controlled codebases through Git, GitFlow, and related tools.
  • Integrate and tune search capabilities using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, along with log analysis and monitoring through ELF tools.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to solve complex problems creatively, contributing to planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and AWS‑based application development.
  • Proven expertise working with relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), version control (Git, GitFlow), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
