The Software Engineer will primarily function as a Quality Assurance Analyst supporting the Infor Financial Business Messages module. In this role, they will ensure the delivery of high‑quality enterprise applications that meet the evolving needs of our global customers. They will work closely with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to validate functionality, performance, and scalability, contributing to smarter, faster, and more intuitive software solutions.

In addition to core QA responsibilities across both manual and automated testing, the Software Engineer will also support engineering efforts by driving the implementation and continuous refinement of electronic message mappings in collaboration with fellow software engineers.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across web-based and cloud-native applications.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, collaborating with development to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams to ensure continuous testing, integration, and delivery pipelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand application use cases, industry-specific workflows, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in user story reviews and contribute to requirements clarification and risk assessment.
  • Monitor application performance, usability, and stability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of QA best practices, frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation and continuous refinement of electronic message mappings together with other software engineers.

What You Will Need?

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated capability in both manual and automated testing, including independently designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, or a similar automation language/tool, with a proven track record of applying these skills to deliver results
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA fundamentals
  • Experience in Functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, compatibility testing, and sanity testing
  • Experience creating test scenarios and test cases, and performing functional testing
  • Strong ability to analyze and understand requirements
  • Hands-on experience with testing and tracking tools such as Jira
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to support evolving product needs

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ERP solutions, such as Infor M3 or similar enterprise systems
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Demonstrated ability to help define and refine QA strategies, improve testing processes, and implement best practices for continuous quality improvement
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and services, particularly AWS
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
