Overview:
Our Packaging Tech performs responsibilities in fillling and re-packing of our products. They assure that items are for distribution and sale. This is a physically intensive role that requires exceptional motivation and scheduling flexibility. This position reports to the Assistant Operations Manager but will also take direction from the Supervisor and Shift Leads.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety standards. Steel toe boots/shoes required, as well as work pants
- Work on your feet for 8 to 9 hours
- Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, stoop and reach
- Ability to carry/lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work in hot, wet and loud environment
- Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents
- Must be flexible to workday
- Hand stack mini keg cases in correct orientation
- Rinse and Dry mini containers
- Put stickers on containers
- Fill containers
- Hand load correct products on to conveyor
- Hand stack re-packed products in correct orientation
- Cleaning of the general facilities and operation area
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary
