We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer with deep expertise in Golang to join our team.
This role focuses on designing scalable microservices, enhancing back-end performance, and seamlessly integrating cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate within a cross-functional SME team and take ownership of delivery, reliability, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality microservices and APIs
- Deliver secure and scalable solutions for back-end systems
- Optimize SQL and PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Implement containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS
- Automate infrastructure management using Terraform and build cloud-native applications
- Monitor and resolve infrastructure and production issues with a focus on reliability
- Collaborate with the client’s team during knowledge transfer/onboarding efforts
- Work cross-functionally with front-end engineers and other back-end developers
- Demonstrate flexibility in acquiring TypeScript/React skills as needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in back-end development with solid expertise in Golang
- Proficiency in AWS services, containerization with Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration
- Competency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Strong foundation in SQL databases and PostgreSQL, including database optimization
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Familiarity with Agile workflows such as Scrum or Kanban
- Problem-solving skills to debug and troubleshoot complex backend or cloud-related issues
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS Compute and S3 services
- Background in DevOps best practices
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL functionalities
