The Vice President of Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CVRM) Research Biology is a pivotal role reporting to the Senior Vice President, Research Biology within Genentech Research & Early Development (gRED). Breakthroughs in our understanding of human disease, propelled by the development of pathobiology maps, foundational disease models and the integration of artificial intelligence combined with the rapid evolution of computationally assisted drug discovery and therapeutic modalities have unlocked unprecedented opportunities to deliver life-changing medicines for patients. You will lead and oversee the CVRM research strategy and portfolio, driving innovation and guiding a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking therapies that improve the lives of patients worldwide. You will be responsible for creating and building the gRED CVRM Research Biology team and developing a sustainable vision and strategy for a growing organization of talented researchers, tackling diverse aspects of CVRM. Qualifications and Experience:
LOCATION
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $446,420 - $551,460. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
