Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) Company: Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) Work Location: Brigade Tech Gardens, Bengaluru

About the Role

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, and hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks with primary focus on Angular. You will contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications aligned with Mercedes-Benz global technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop and support microservices-based architectures for enterprise applications.

Build responsive and interactive frontend applications using Angular (preferred) and TypeScript, along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best engineering practices and coding standards.

Perform unit testing and integration testing for both frontend and backend components.

Support deployment activities using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Ensure effective logging, debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization across the full stack.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills – Backend

Strong proficiency in Java.

Knowledge of Kotlin (preferred, not mandatory).

Hands-on experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Strong exposure to unit testing and integration testing.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, build and release).

Experience in logging, debugging, monitoring, and production issue resolution.

Required Skills – Frontend

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Hands-on experience with Angular (Angular 8+ preferred) and TypeScript.

Experience in building modular, component-based UIs and consuming REST APIs from the frontend.
