What You’ll Be Doing

• Global Systems Integration: Provide strategic oversight of financial systems across all regions, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment. Lead initiatives that advance global integration over time while balancing efficiency, scalability, and local compliance requirements.
• General Ledger Integrity: Own the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely, precise month-end close across all global entities.
• Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework, including documentation, testing, and remediation of key controls.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; prepare audit-ready financial statements.
• Financial Analysis: Partner with FP&A to align actuals with forecasts and support the variance analysis for leadership reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, implement lasting solutions, and guide teams through change management with clarity and empathy.
• Strategic Projects: Support ERP selection, entity structuring, M&A activity, and technical accounting assessments as needed.
• Team Leadership: Develop and mentor accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, payroll, tax advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including global or multi-entity operations.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, familiarity with international accounting standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and leading others through change.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and automation tools; AI integration a plus.
• Business Central experience a plus.
• Experience in a global professional services or consulting environment a plus.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 15% annually.

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $170,000.

Remote Eligibility: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at a Pinion office or attendance at offsites, as requested/required by the firm and/or your supervisor.
