Die Cutting Machine Operator
Position Summary:
The Die Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate die cutting machines according to work orders and production schedules
- Install and align dies, plates, and cutting tools
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and proper material alignment
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous die cutting or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or job specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- High school diploma or GED preferred
