Salary: 18-20
We are looking for a machine operator with punch press or press brake experience in a production manufacturing environment. This position requires skill and competency in production process and machine operation. This is an evaluation to hire position.
Schedule: Mon – Thurs 6am-4:30 pm (possible OT on Fridays)- Pay starts $18
Essential Functions:
- Set up and align material and guide sheet metal though punch press or press brake
- Diagnose problems, make necessary adjustments and remove scrap from machine.
- Stack, band and palletize finished products
- Comply with company and OSHA safety policies and safe work practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Occupation requires physical activity more than 7 hours per day.
- Stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat, kneel or bend
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs when required
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year proficient work experience in manufacturing or production
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE): Steel-toed shoes, Safety glasses, Hand protection, Arm guards/sleeves
- Highschool diploma or GED preferred
